Leangkollen Conference | 13-14 February 2017 , Norway

The Leangkollen Conference is the Norwegian Atlantic Committee‘s flagship two-day conference where a setting of experts and stakeholders from government, academia and the private sector provide insight into current defence, foreign, and security policy issues. Titled “Security in Northern Europe after Crimea, Brexit and the U.S. election”, the 2017 edition put emphasis on security in Northern Europe and will adapt a regional perspective focusing on aspects of the changing security dynamics in NATO’s role in Security in Northern Europe. The conference was opened by the Norwegian Minister of Defence, Ine Eriksen Søreide and the key note speeches was delivered by Minister of Defence of Sweden, Peter Hultqvist and the Minister of Defence of Finland, Jussi Niinistö.
